we are doing lessons from your files with some friends here. until now we learnt 2 first lessons inshaallah. I noticed several mistakes in these 2 first lessons. some SIFAT – MAWSUF phrases, you translated as if they are JUMLAH. for example, ZHAALIKA-L KITAABU you wrote it as THAT IS THE BOOK. however it had to be THAT BOOK..
the same things for the followings in lesson no.2: HAAZHIHI-L HAYAATU-D DUNYA, HAAZHIHI-N NAARU, HAAZHI-SH SHAJAROTA.
I advise you to re-check the translations of your uploaded lessons once again.

I got to Unit 2 in the meanwhile. I still like the way you chose to teach Arabic. Of course I don’t know how it goes on. I learned a few foreign languages yet. And I think I optimized it by using different sources (online and CD’s). But Arabic is the first with different letters. I don’t think that there could be a better way to teach the letters.
Of course, it’s sad that there are no audios to work on the pronounciation. But concerning the numbers I found e.g. a YT video. So I got an idea.
And there are numerous other websites providing that. You seem to be the only one teaching the writing. And I’m thankful for that.
Page 15 Unit 1 – I don’t understand the explanation of Sukoon. I’m not a native English speaker… Is there a possibility to explain it differently, more detailed, e.g. with an example?
I’m asking myself: Why a Sukoon instead of writing – e.g. – the letter B without any mark?
Or do you pronounce it (having no mark) like Baa (German BÄ)? But if this was the case, then there wouldn’t be reason for the mark Fathah…
And where ever Sukoon occurs on a work, it cuts only the vowel of the last letter? Well, why not placing it then on the last letter???
I’m confused, I’m still very slow in reading (I completed Unit 4) – so I started to repeat all Units to get more fluent… But your Sukoon explanation – I will never ever understand it.
Same subject: Page 17 Whale: I don’t see a Sukoon: Why is it Hoot and not Hootu? I see a Dammah… Really, I don’t get it.

Indeed, it’s very helpful. Though, Alhamdulillaah, I have had little education on this subject matter, but, with this, it further lit up my mind towards arabic language suand specifically, the Al-qur’an.
